Broadway Show “Swing” comes to LA – June 1st, 2003

The original Broadway Musical "Swing" comes to the Wilshire Theater located at 8440 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills for 8 performances.

This spectacular Dance Troup along with great music from the 1930’s-1940’s brings back memories that swept the nation in that era. The Swing Scene was rejuvinated and hot on the scene in the early 1990’s and still is a popular favorite among dancers and fans of that generation and the art of this dance and the fabulous Big Band Swing Music. The Show last toured in LA at The Ahmanson in 2000 and is now back by popular demand as they have been on Tour all over in the last year.

This great show has been nominated for 6 Tony Awards. Other nominations include Best Musical; Director; Choreography; and Orchestrations. The evening features some outstanding dance couples that perform Jive, Latin Swing, West Coast Swing, Hip Hop Swing, and Country Western Swing to name a few styles.
