Dining in other areas Outside of Los Angeles

Crustacean Las Vegas and Prana Lounge (6/04)

The luxurious Crustacean Restaurant (located in the Desert Passage Mall adjacent to the Aladdin Hotel)-opened in 2003 is Euro/Asian Fine Dining at its best. Not only is it romantic but the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and pleasant to enjoy your gourmet feast.

The delicious spring roll (first dish) was presented like a modern work of art, three spring rolls
juxtaposed to form a 3d triangular food sculpture, accented by splashes of red and
yellow on a white triangular background (the actual plate), and highlighted with sprinkles of
green sprouts

It was a unanimous vote that the lightly wok-fried salt and pepper calamari is the fast track to taste bud heaven…- Do Not Miss This Dish!

Other specialties include the fresh Sashimi of the day; The New Zealand Green Lip Mussels, and tasty Salads.

The Main Courses included:

The succulent seared Hawaiian Red Snapper with a crispy skin that must have had some secret seasoning
on it because it just tasted soooo good. Mmm mmmm!;  Farm Raised Striped Bass with leeks; Peppercorn crusted Filet of Beef and the Colorado Spring Lamb with Rosemary.

Of course the House Specialty is the Roasted Garlic Cracked Crab with famous Garlic Noodles from An’s Secret Kitchen. Also from the secret kitchen are Tiger Prawns and Lobster that melts in your mouth. Great vegetables including the tasty baby bok choy accompany your meal.

For dessert the Ginger Cream Brule had a heavenly zing and the Poached Pear with sorbet was great to end the evening with.
