WITH DEBUT OF THREE AVANT-GARDE DESIGNERS

 

The New Garde: A Celebration of Innovative Los Angeles Fashion

WHAT:      On Monday, March 14, 2005, Gen Art will host “The New Garde,” its second annual event dedicated to launching three innovative Los Angeles/Pacific Rim designers into the fashion community. This highly anticipated event, hosted at the MOCA Geffen Contemporary Museum in downtown Los Angeles, from 8:30p.m.-11:30 p.m., will be the kickoff party to Los Angeles Fashion Week. Collections from three avant-garde fashion talents will be showcased via dramatic installations with live model vignettes. “The New Garde” emphasizes Gen Art’s continued commitment to the growth of independent and spirited West Coast fashion talent and will feature designs from Goretti by Monica Goretti Behan, Edith Palm by Sarah Aaronson, and ByTinaXXX by Konstantina Mittas.
