25th Annual American Wine & Food Festival on September 29, 07 (Preview and Tickets)

Last year’s American Wine & Food Festival was a sell-out and the most successful ever! This year’s 25th Anniversary event will be even more exciting!

On September 29, 2007, a line up of today’s most prominent chefs will converge at Universal Studios in Los Angeles for the 25th annual American Wine & Food Festival. A star-studded gathering of internationally celebrated chefs and fine wine and spirit purveyors will serve in honor of the occasion.

The American Wine & Food Festival is open to the public and features live music, a silent auction and an epicurean feast prepared by some of the world’s greatest chefs.

Since its inception in 1982, the Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation has supported the American Wine & Food Festival, raising more than $11 million for Los Angeles Chapter of Meals on Wheels. The Meals on Wheels programs of Los Angeles serve thousands of meals each day to the elderly, disabled and homebound members of our community.

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 26, 2007 – It is the one culinary festival not to be missed. The food, the wine, the all-star cast of chefs, the list of auction items that money, quite literally, cannot buy… On this one night anything is possible.

The who’s who of the culinary world will descend on Los Angeles for the 25th Anniversary American Wine and Food Festival. The star-studded gathering of an estimated 40 celebrated chefs and more than 70 fine wine and spirit purveyors will unite to benefit Los Angeles Meals on Wheels.

It only happens once a year, and you definitely don’t want to miss it this year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29th, 2007. Last year’s festival sold out days before the event! So buy your ticket early and don’t be late. Held on the Universal Studios’ back lot from 6 to 11 p.m., the festival is open to the public and will feature live bands, a silent auction, a few surprises, and of course, an unrivaled epicurean feast. An estimated 2,100-plus guests are expected to attend.

On the heels of last year’s record-breaking success, the Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation is putting together another esteemed line-up of celebrity chefs. 2006 chefs included The Food Network’s Bobby Flay, Babbo’s Mario Batali, Nobu Matsuhisa of Matsuhisa and Ubon, Le Bernardin’s Eric Ripert, Michael Mina of Michael Mina Bellagio, and Slanted Door’s Charles Phan.
