Agua Serena Spa & Breakfast Buffet at the Hyatt in Indian Wells, Ca.(5/08)

Coast to Coast has covered a lot of spas worldwide and we have to say that Agua Serena, the spa at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, CA is one of the very best that we have ever experienced. Without being pretentious or extravagant this spa offers the utmost in luxury and relaxation. The staff is friendly and down-to-earth and the amenities are top notch.

 

Each treatment room has a secluded patio with floor to ceiling doors allowing each guest to let in as much fresh air as desired and gazing out at the natural surroundings. This effect makes one feel as if she were outside connected to nature even as you are receiving your treatments indoors. After your treatment you can relax outside while listening to the trickling of the waterfalls into the Reflection Pool. Scrubs are done on the private patios outside right off of the treatment rooms. What a refreshing feeling to enjoy an outdoor shower treatment within the privacy of your own room!

The spa offers several different types of massages including hot stone, aromatherapy, couples, pregnancy, Thai, shiatsu, and reflexology to name a few. Hair, makeup, waxing, tinting and manicure/pedicure services are also available. Their expert estheticians can customize a facial especially made for your skin type and needs or enjoy one of their signature treatments such as their Stone Facial or their Indian Clay facial.  Tsege was our Esthetician and provided the perfect blend of products for our fantastic facials.  The whole staff is hospitable and helpful led by Spa Director Stephanie Baxter.

 

One other suggestion before your treatment or massage is to come for breakfast at the Hyatt Buffet, as it doesn’t get much better.  Fresh Omelets made to order, all other types of cereals, breads, fruits, and assorted pancakes & waffles.  The staff is top notch led by Antoine Marengo (The Food and Beverage Manager).
