Spas/Resorts

The Resort at Squaw Creek has it all including the Six Peaks Grille and fabulous Spa (2/11)

The Resort at Squaw Creek is an incredible place located right in Squaw Valley with its own chair lift onto the mountain.  We had the pleasure of a great spa experience with fantastic therapists Jennifer for our staff member Jon and Kathy Hinkle, who gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had.  The full service spa has a fitness center, steam room, showers and beautiful décor.  There is an outside heated pool and two jacuzzis.  For more info or reservations,  call (530) 583-6300.

After our fabulous treatments, we changed and headed upstairs to the Six Peaks Grille restaurant for some exquisite fine dining.  Chef Chad Shrewsbury is so creative and all the dishes were great.  We started with the crab/artichoke fondue, which was very tasty and filling. For appetizers, do not miss the Tiger Shrimp, Jumbo Diver Scallops or Beef Short Ribs.  All were out of this world.  Mix in one of their variety of salads.  I loved the Butter leaf salad with green goddess dressing.  For entrees, we had the fresh Red Drum Seabass and hard to find perfectly cooked Veal Osso Buco.  Mix in a glass of wine or one of their signature cocktails and you will walk out completely satisfied.  The service and staff were most hospitable in the beautifully decorated atmosphere.  The booth was most comfortable during our outstanding, leisurely dining experience.

For reservations, please call 530-581-6621 and they are highly recommended on popular dates and the weekend.
