On Sunday, August 28, 2011, the Los Angeles Epicurean Festival at Sofitel LA will bring together culinary specialties and extraordinary wines & spirits, under one roof in a casual setting. Products that usually are only available to Chefs are being offered at the Festival. Attendees will be able to pair and compare, taste and take home their favorite selections.
- A cooking contest with 3 chefs, 3 sommeliers and 3 mixeologists: Each chef will get any product of their choice available at the festival only as the sommelier will have to feet with the chef choice to make a perfect cold appetizer and the mixeologist will do the same as they will concoct a testy and artistic dessert to go with their cocktail creation.
The theme for both culinary creations will be “Summer time”!
- Food demonstrations will be available every hour conducted by:

- There will be mixeology classes, oenologists are standing by to explain how to taste and recognize great wines.

July 20, 2011 – The Club Culinaire of Southern California is pleased to announce its Third Annual Boutique Trade Show at the Hotel Sofitel Los Angeles on Monday, August 29 from noon to 6pm. Sofitel Los Angeles is located at 8555 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90048 (www.sofitellosangeles.com).
The Trade Show is intended to showcase the Club Culinaire members (wineries, manufacturers and distributors) to new and existing customers in the greater Los Angeles area. Approximately 100 member-purveyors are being invited to showcase their products with food and wine tastings throughout the day, including: Spice Station, Blue Star Foods, Cucina della Cucina, Gelati Celesti, West Central Produce, White Toque, Regency Wines & Spirits, Maple Leaf Farms, Michel Cordon Bleu, Sweet Temptations and more.
