EnjoEat Classico Italian Restaurant in Culver City is a hidden treasure- February 2014

Culver City has become a hot spot for restaurants, with its wide sidewalks to allow wonderful indoor/outdoor dining. The latest wonderful restaurant is called ENJOEAT CLASSICO. Located on the side of the Culver City Pacific movie theaters, this restaurant also features a separate true authentic Italian coffee shop featuring 20 of so amazing home made desserts and wonderful gelato.  

  

 

The casual Italian restaurant features FUNGHI RIPIIENI – amazing stuffed baked mushrooms with 2 types of cheese Italian parsley with the sautéed mushrooms.  We also tried the stuffed eggplant with gorgonzola cheese as an appetizer and the delicious seared ahi tuna, which were wonderful.

 

We loved the LINGUINE SCOGLIO – linguine with assorted seafood and very tasty shrimp, clams, squid, and mussels in a nice tomato and garlic sauce that was light and just right. We washed that down with some very nice Italian white vino as they had a nice variety on their wine list as they have 18 different red white and sparkling wines to choose from.

 

We loved the BRANDO named after Marlon, which was half pizza and half calzone stuffed with cheese and ham and great to share. The menu features a wide variety of pastas, pizzas, meats, seafood and more.  We even ran into Marlon Brando’s son Miko, who is fan of this restaurant having eaten in their other location in Gardena. They have over a dozen wonderful pizzas to choose from.

 

We shared dessert and loved them all. We had TIRAMISU , MILLEFOGLIE- which is a puff pastry with layers of vanilla and chocolate gelator, and PEACH TART. All 3 went well with cappuccino.  So make your way to culver city for a wonderful authentic Italian dinner that is very reasonable priced and off the beaten path.
