First, I started with the unique hammam turkish steam room where you relax for about 20-30 minutes before your massage while your muscles get loosened up. There is a shower and mini water-flowing system when you get too hot. You can also adjust the setting of the temperature of the room and apply their own salt-sugar scrub to exfoliate your body.

Next, I had the pleasure of receiving the incredible ambassador massage from Rachael and it was off the charts. She was very experienced and besides going deep, she also incorporated hot stones, acupressure and hot towels. I came in very tight but left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed as she hit every spot I needed to get the kinks out. To end, I tried the Cromo tub with a salt soak and seaweed detox crystal bath soak. I came out feeling like a million bucks as the salts and seaweed were perfect after the deep massage while finishing with a shower in my own suite with music, a tv and couch.

My associate Pat had a wonderful Custom Massage with Mohammad followed by the Cromo tub while finishing off with a fantastic Custom Facial with Farzaneh. The Custom massage that Pat had was wonderful. The therapist, in addition to the massage, incorporated a stretching motion by moving her legs from side to side. Heating elements were used in the massage under her neck and abdomen, which was very soothing and warmed the muscles. What was very unique was that the room where the massage was given was very spacious and included a Cromo tub which was very enjoyable and enhancing to soak in afterwards. Also, the room had its own shower, sinks and counter-tops, which was very convenient.

The esthetician for Pat’s facial also incorporated heat with warm towels under Pat’s chin and a heating pad on her abdomen, which was very relaxing while she lye on her back. Pat’s skin glowed after the facial and she would highly recommend both treatments at the Cure.

All the treatments were top notch and we highly recommend a visit to Cure. The staff was very personable and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

Descriptions of the treatments we had:

Tucked away in our spa, resides a rarity in the western world: A true Turkish bath, referred to as Hammam. A Turkish Hammam is a low steam-heated room which exfoliates and detoxes the body while the mind relaxes. Our Hammam is loved by all who have experienced it, and has become a ‘must have experience’ for all our jet setter clients while visiting LA. The warmth of the Hammam opens your pores and allows for your body to relax and detoxify – the perfect way to start your spa treatments.
Upon entering our Hammam, we supply you with our beloved Argyle Signature Sugar Scrub, cool towels and drinking water to rehydrate. This is the best way to start any of your spa treatments so you receive the deepest and full lasting results of the therapy, and leave the Argyle in a completely blissful, rejuvenated state. Your Hammam time is private and only for your personal use.

The Ambassador Signature Massage is powerfully therapeutic and deeply relaxing. This treatment was masterfully devised to blend the most effective aspects of Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue and Shiatsu Technique. Throughout the treatment, heated towels, eye pillows, hot pads and warm stones are incorporated. Including reflexology and scalp massage this treatment has it all.
