Fine Dining at Joey Restaurant, tasty dessert at Sloan’s Ice Cream in Woodland Hills Westfield Topanga- December 2015
Joey Restaurant- We recently had lunch at this new establishment from Canada (their first restaurant in Southern California). In addition to the great ambiance, the food was excellent. We started with the fried calamari and ahi sushi. The menu is very extensive. We shared the seafood paella, the fresh salmon flown in from the pacific northwest in a bowl with great seasoning rice and veggies, roasted tender chicken and veggies as well as tasty, fresh sushi.
The menu had great selections from all types of food to fit almost anyone’s requests. This new place was a huge it and definitely worth the visit no matter what food you like. We think they will be a big success and start opening more restaurants in California and around the USA. Enjoy premium casual dining with a globally inspired menu at JOEY Restaurants. The lively staff and relaxed atmosphere will keep you coming back for more.

Sloans Ice Cream in the same mall was a great place for dessert. Try some of their homemade buttermilk ice cream, cookies, brownies, candies and fabulous candy apples. Do not miss the best desserts here as this is the most popular place in the mall. My favorites were of course the ice cream, candy apples and chocolate chip cookies. Seems standard but trust me how good they were. It is worth the trip.
