The first omusubi we had was the Tuna Mayo. It’s a basic bite with rice, albacore, mayo and light spice gently wrapped up in seaweed. We are picky tuna eater, and commonly find that minced tuna used in many seaweed bound rolls is usually either a lower quality tuna or old tuna that was saved by smearing it in spices and mayonnaise. That is not the case here! The tuna was fresh all the way through and the mayo wasn’t overpowering. It was a perfect balancing act of flavors and I savored every little bite of it.   Another great Japanese rice ball as you may call them was the shrimp with a spicy mayo sauce but delicious.   We also had the  omusubi which was Miso Beef. This small and perfectly shaped triangle of Japanese goodness contained tender, slow-cooked beef with caramelized onions cooked in a homemade miso sauce. Again, we savored every bite. So delicious and fresh; melted right in my mouth.
Check this unique, casual place out for a quick bite.  The prices are very reasonable and service is quick.
