Carvery Kitchen in Santa Monica offers delicious deli style food, catering- February 2016
The Carvery Kitchen in Santa Monica offers delicatessen style food on an epic scale. The menu is enormous and features many different options including slow roasted marinated meats, salads, and side dishes. The meats include roast chicken, turkey, and beef, pulled pork, corned beef brisket, pastrami, salmon, and shrimp. Once you choose your meat you have your option of having it in a sandwich, bowl, or on a plate with sides. The Carvery Kitchen even offers flat bread pizzas and a kid’s menu that includes grilled cheese sandwiches and quesadillas.
We asked the gentleman behind the counter some recommendations and without hesitation he said we should dry the prime dippers. These sandwiches come with the Carvery’s signature meats as well as a dipping sauce. We had the pulled pastrami dip, the roasted turkey dip, and the corned beef brisket dip. The beef sandwiches came with a warm peppercorn au jus sauce and the turkey came with a small cup of roasted tomato bisque for dipping. The combination of the freshly baked rolls, succulent meats, and dipping sauces were packed with flavor and got better and better with each bite. We also were able to sample some of their sides and salads which included the black bean chili, herb roasted veggies, super grains veggie pilaf, red skin mashed potatoes, succotash salad, Bloody Mary artichoke salad, and avocado salad. Our favorites were the black bean chili and the red skin mashed potatoes.
Between the amazing sandwiches and colossal array of sides and salads, the Carvery Kitchen in Santa Monica offers a little bit of everything for everyone. You can enjoy your meal in in their well lit and comforting dining area or phone in an order to go through their curbside pick-up. For unbelievably flavorful deli cuisine, we would highly recommend The Carvery Kitchen in Santa Monica. They also offer catering and delivery as they had 2 big orders when we were there to show how popular it is.
