Captain Kidd’s seafood restaurant in Redondo Beach, market offers the freshest fish around- April 2016

Eating near the beach is a must if you happen to be in South California, to make it memorable it is always required a combination of quality with a very diverse menu.

While passing through Redondo Beach we had the chance to stop by Captain Kidd’s, the place looked very attractive and you would be very surprised with the display they have inside all around their counters. Such a welcoming selection and variety.

One of the most interesting details about Captain Kidd’s is the variety to pick your meal from the fresh fish display. The seafood here is so appealing that makes you hungry right away.  You can pick anything from Calamari, Shrimp, Salmon, Tilapia and Yellowtail, Tuna just to mention a few of the things you find here.The presentation of the meals is excellent, the menu is well extended and you also get to choose how you want your meal cooked.

We personally recommend plates like seafood Paella, Fish Tacos, their LG Mexican White Shrimp is amazing, and of course the Whole Crabs & Lobsters (Steamed), even their Popcorn Shrimp will grab your attention. We have been around most of the city and it will be hard to find such a beautiful array of seafood as Captain Kids. This is a must visit when you make it to the south bay next time and worth the trip. Very casual seating and attire and friendly staff with a cozy atmosphere.

Feel free to go over the list of sides they offer; you will never feel short with the selection they have. From corn, rice, beans, veggies and salads.

The owner John was super hospitable and checks on all the customers to ensure all is going well. He loves to hear feedback and takes great pride to improve or listen to suggestions.
