Kid’s Summer Cooking Classes by Chef Eric Crowley- Preview, Info, Few spots left- June 2016

Chef Eric Crowley has a lot to say about cooking with Kids – he’s been teaching them in his Los Angeles Cooking School for over 10 years. He started Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom 13 years ago when there were only 3 cooking schools in Los Angeles and he is still thriving. For recreational cooks and home chefs, he offers classes on couples cooking, international cuisines, wine and food pairing, sushi making, cupcake baking and lots more.  He also offers Master Chef and Baking Programs to prepare for jobs at in the culinary industry. “At the Culinary Classroom, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and intimate setting for every student to explore their enthusiasm and passion for cooking, and to derive a greater sense of worth and accomplishment through their personal growth,” says Chef Eric. “One of my greatest rewards is to see a student who I’ve trained become a very successful professional chef at a top restaurant or a thriving business owner.”

Many companies and law firms have come to Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom for fun team-building events. “Taking people out of their daily routine and putting them in a situation where communication and cooperation are vital, is a great way to team-build,” says Chef Eric. “Throw in the tastes, aromas and beauty of delicious dishes, and you have a fantastic experience.” He also hosts private cooking parties for birthdays, anniversaries and other special events.

The summer, though, is mostly about the Kids. His Children’s Culinary Academies began when local parents taking his cooking classes started asking him to offer camps. “There’s something very refreshing about teaching children for a change. In many ways, their exuberance for getting to do something new and creative reminds me of how I was when I first began learning the culinary arts,” says Chef Eric.

Teaching children responsibility in the kitchen also helps to reinforce good eating habits that will last a lifetime – they try foods they wouldn’t normally eat. They learn cooperation in the kitchen, math skills, sanitation, how to use kitchen equipment, knife skills, and so much more.  Chef Eric feels that it is important for children to learn to cook at a young age and the investment pays off tenfold when they grow up and leave for college. Many parents are surprised when their kids want to go directly to the grocery store after class to shop for ingredients. They may even clean the kitchen after they make you dinner!

So, when you are looking for the premiere Cooking School for Children’s Cooking Camps – look no further. If you’re interested in having your child participate, visit his website soon as his classes are selling out quickly: http://culinaryclassroom.com/kids-summer-programs/
