Kenny Wayne Shepherd & ZZ TOP Concert Review

The opening artist of Kenny Wayne Shepherd’s band was highly entertaining. Kenny’s blues guitar work was incredible.  Finest guitar licks I can remember seeing live.  In addition, his band-mates were all very talented.  They played amazing renditions of songs from both Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn, as well as playing their own songs. 

As for the headline act of ZZ Top, the band sounded as good as ever playing most of their top hits. The crowd, many of them standing most of the time, were all fired-up.  I don’t believe anyone there that night went home disappointed.   Furthermore, the weather at the Greek Theater was perfect.
