Celebrating 32 years, Event Chair, Debora Wright, along with returning Honorary Chairs, Sherry Lansing, Phil Rosenthal and Bill Chait, Cal Spirit will bring together renowned chefs from Los Angeles’ best restaurants to prepare their finest culinary creations, wine makers from California’s premier wineries, and unique creations from LA’s top mixologists. The American Cancer Society is delighted to honor actor, survivor and activist  Fran Drescher as our Honoree.  Celebrated chef and television personality Richard Blais will serve as our Host Chef, with Andrew Firestone taking the reins as our auctioneer.

California Spirit is one of Southern California’s largest gala fundraisers benefitting the American Cancer Society and has raised more than $15 million over the past 31 years towards our mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. We are the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, investing more than $4 billion since 1946.
