Angeleno’s 10th Annual Restaurant Awards, LIVE & DINE LA

LOS ANGELES (July, 2012) – Los Angeles’ greatest chefs and restaurateurs will descend under the
iconic Moreton Bay Fig Tree at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows on Sunday, July 22 for
Angeleno’s LIVE & DINE LA and 10th Annual Restaurant Awards—the longest-running chef awards in
Southern California. Paying tribute to Angeleno’s top picks for Best New Restaurant of the Year, Best
Pastry Chef, Best New Mixologist and more, the awards will be handed out by Angeleno’s President and
Group Publisher Alan Klein and Editor-in-Chief Lesley McKenzie at the VIP reception preceding
the Grand Tasting event. Guests attending the VIP Award reception are invited to toast the winners and
mingle with the chefs prior to the Grand Tasting.

The Grand Tasting kicks off immediately following the VIP presentation of awards, and includes culinary
demonstrations by 20 of L.A.’s most celebrated chefs, along with samplings of award-winning wines and
spirits. Special guest host Chef Ray Garcia of FIG Restaurant located at Fairmont Miramar will bring
together a unique collaboration of local farmers from the famous Santa Monica Farmers’ Market. Chef
Garcia’s committed approach to sustainable cuisine has made him a leading proponent in this arena and
has placed him as one of Los Angeles’ most renowned chefs at this year’s LIVE & DINE LA.

General admission tickets for the Grand Tasting are $95. A percentage of ticket sale proceeds will benefit
P.S. ARTS, a non-profit improving the lives of children by bringing arts education to under-served public
schools and their communities. Our famous silent auction will also benefit P.S. ARTS, and guests can

VIP tickets cost $150 and include exclusive access to the presentation of Angeleno’s Restaurant Awards
as well as access to the private dining room of event sponsor, Kitchit. During the grand tasting, the Kitchit
experience will be brought to life for VIPs, as Kitchit chefs cook for and mingle exclusively with guests
in the dining room. Kitchit is pioneering the concept of “bespoke dining,” which aims to connect
