The 8th Annual Best of L.A.® party, benefiting the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), features exquisite tasting menus prepared by area restaurants voted one of the hundred best by the editors of Los Angeles Magazine. Only those restaurants in the “Best Of” edition of the magazine can participate in the event and the names of those chosen will be revealed shortly. Since it’s inception, Best of L.A.® has become one of the most anticipated outdoor consumer events on the West Coast attracting a diverse and eclectic mix of dining and entertainment aficionados, celebrities and well-known artists. Premium wines such as Hahn Estates, Kendall-Jackson, Trinchero Family Estates, Reynolds Wines, Sebastiani, Ravenswood and St. Supery will be served. Summer cocktails will be provided by Rose’s Cocktail Infusions and Grey Goose. Starbucks and S. Pelligrino will also be serving.
Musical entertainment includes the Richard Glaser Trio, the Royal Crown Revue and a blues band. The exhibit “Roy McMakin: A Door Meant as Adornment” will be open for viewing all evening at MOCA at the Pacific Design Center.
This year’s Presenting Sponsor is Hummer, Corporate Sponsors are BeBe and Maison d’Optique, and Media Sponsors are KCRW and KCAL.
