WHY:           To help raise money for the National Kidney Foundation.  The evening will feature silent                       auctions, plenty of entertainment, and lots of delectable dishes by chefs of renowned                           restaurants all over Los Angeles.

 

                    This year’s event will honor Celestino, Calogero, Gaicomino and Tanino Drago.                             The Drago brothers are well known as being some of the top chefs in Los Angeles who                        have been unwavering supporters of the National Kidney Foundation for over 15 years.          

 

                    Proceeds raised from this event will directly fund the Kidney Foundation’s 3^rd                         Annual Holiday of Hope toy drive. The Holiday of Hope drive is expected to aid a                      thousand children and their families in Southern California by providing much                     needed everyday necessities such as toiletries, school supplies and toys for the                       holiday season. Any additional money raised from the event will be utilized to fund             patient care services, public health education, free camp programs for children                            suffering from kidney disease, minority health outreach seminars, health                                        screenings for at risk populations including migrant farm workers and to raise                             awareness of the value of organ donation.
