PUBLIC EVENT BUSINESS WITH LBGC TICKETS WINE LIST/AWARDS MENU/RESTAURANTS THE AUCTION YOU BE THE JUDGE SLIDE SHOWS PARTICIPATION |
A fantastic evening of food, wine, music and auction items provided for a beautiful evening to raise money for Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.
The Creme Brulee from the Reef Restaurant and everything from Parker’s Lighthouse was delicious especially the scallops on the half shell and the smoked salmon mousse in a puff pastry shell.
Sir Winston’s at the Queen Mary had a particularly tasty sesame crusted tuna with seaweed Salad. The edible arrangements display was impressive and the fruit was very fresh.
Another favorite was the food from Gladstone’s in LB. The Blue crab cakes were the best and the seared rare ahi was also excellent.
The hot smoked albacore tacos accented with a lemony avocado cream and cucumber salsa from Chefs A La Carte Catering was excellent.
The Gnocchi al Pomodoro from Ill Poggio was also a bit hit. Restaurant 555 East had an outstanding sliced New York steak with horseradish cream
and the Braised short rib on ciabatta with herb tomato and Cabernet demi sauce was the most outstanding from Mister R’s Grille at the Marriott Hotel.
The Rainbow Park was decorated beautifully with white table cloths and chairs accented by purple bags and purple centerpieces. All of the volunteer stay were very friendly and helpful. They made the night very pleasant.
Indulge…(it’s for a good cause.)
