Julie, Julia & Jamie at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa (01/10)

The movie Julie & Julia reminds us of the art of French cooking. The Ojai Valley Here is your opportunity to meet the author Julie Powell and participate in a cooking demonstration of some of Julia Child’s recipes with our Chef, Jamie West. Chef West has had the delight and honor of cooking for Julia Child on numerous occasions in his previous restaurant. 

On Saturday from 2-3 pm, Ms. Powell will assist our executive chef Jamie West in preparing one of Julia Child’s delectable in an interactive cooking demonstration in the Herb Garden. dishes. That evening from 6-9:30 pm, Chef West will prepare a Julia Child-inspired dinner featuring some recipes from Child’s legendary book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Ms. Powell will be on hand to discuss each course, and sign her book, Julie & Julia, for attending guests.
To complete and enhance the evening, come to a private screening of Julie & Julia in the Neff Lounge and enjoy a tempting dessert bar at 10 PM. 

On Sunday morning guests are invited to enjoy a breakfast buffet at the Inn prior to departure.
