Mastros Wonderful Steakhouse in Beverly Hills is a must visit (5/11)

We ate at Mastros in Beverly Hills recently and what an incredible dining experience. The steaks were cooked to perfection and overall, we have nothing but great things to say including the atmosphere, service and all the food.  There is a great selection of starters from fresh shellfish served chilled on a dry ice tower for a beautiful presentation, delicious soups/specialty salads and hot seafood appetizers.  Don’t miss the jumbo shrimp cocktail and add crab, lobster or oysters for your preference.

     The wide selection of meats served on 400 degree plates are grilled to your liking and they melt in your mouth.  Choose from NY Strip, Ribeye or our personal favorite, the bone-in fillet.  A variety of side dishes are available to accompany your meal including options of mashed potatoes (lobster, garlic, wasabi, sweet or plain), au-gratin, fried or baked. Mac & Cheese, creamed spinach, corn, broccoli asparagus, mushrooms, brussels sprouts, green beans to name a few.  For the non-meat eater, Mastros offers a selection of fresh fish including Tuna, Sea Bass, Salmon and daily specials. We were so full that we didn’t have room for dessert but some of the choices looked amazing.

     Their award winning wine list offers fantastic pours to go with your meal besides their cocktail list. The décor is beautiful and enjoy your dinner while listening to standards through their sound system of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Buble and similar singers until the live piano/singer starts at 7pm.  Make your reservations as the restaurant gets crowded especially on weekends. Valet parking available.  We highly recommend Mastros as it was one of the best steaks and fine dining places around.
