Argyle Salon & Spa at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA is a must visit (8/12)
We got to experience the Argyle Salon & Spa located at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood recently and were very impressed. A must is to book the Turkish Hammam (the steam room where only one party at a time can visit). You personally control how hot you want to take it and ask for the sugar scrub to bring inside to exfoliate your body and make it feel silky smooth. There is a cold shower inside, which you will want to dip under as it gets nice and steamy inside.
After you exit, you are escorted to your private room (a suite). I believe this is the only spa in the city that provides your own suite where you get your treatment. The suite includes a large shower/tub area, full bathroom facilities and a fantastic atmosphere. You can customize your massage and facials, which we did. Your therapist will provide a warm pad on your stomach and under your neck to help you relax before starting the session. Choose from deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone and more including aromatherapy to compliment your massage. The facial happens in the same room right before or after your massage by their experienced Esthetician, who will check out your skin and suggest the best products and treatment for you personally. We would like to thank and suggest the following who were fantastic during our visit- Jordan and Mohammad for our massages and Emily for our facials.
