Pokehana in La Quinta, Ca. serves the Best Poke Bowls- March 2018

Pokehana in La Quinta was the Best poke I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the owner Daniel was super welcoming and friendly. The place was very modern, clean and the décor and atmosphere was very relaxing and calming like we were in Hawaii. Hence the Hawaiian name, Hana, as part of the restaurant name. The fish, sides and homemade sauces looked fantastic ( I went with Sesame Sauce and also the Wasabi Cilantro Sauce but they have a few others).

So we went through the line choosing a base (white rice, mix of brown and wild rice and/or salad). Next up was choosing your protein from tuna, spice tuna, shrimp, octopus, salmon, seared albacore and vegan options. Then add any regular or premium sides (too many to name but visit the website to see more) and your bowl will be complete just how you like it. Or choose from one of their signature hand crafted bowls on the menu. This is a definite must stop on your next visit to the desert and they were the first poke place there.
