HOFSAS HOUSE- The best place to stay while visiting Carmel.

We had a beautiful spacious suite for 2 nights with beautiful views of the ocean in the distance. A pleasant surprise was falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves with the light of the fireplace flames. The suite had 2 separate rooms; 1 king bed and 2 day beds which were all very comfortable. The two bathrooms had 3 sinks. Wi-Fi, cable TV, a refrigerator, coffee maker and free parking was included.. Other amenities included a continental breakfast; coffee, juice, yogurt, various cereals, fruit and muffins. The heated outdoor pool and sauna provided an opportunity to relax after a long day. . One of the best amenities is the hotel location which is just blocks away from downtown Carmel and a mile walk to the beach. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is spread out and is on three levels. Great sunset views as well as one of the more beautiful beaches with a nice approx 20 stroll down to the beach.

Heated Swimming Pool	The Hofsas House has a year-round heated swimming pool for use by guests. This is quite a luxury in Carmel-by-the-Sea since most of the inns in the heart of the village are on small lots.
Dry Saunas	In the European tradition, there are two dry saunas, men’s and women’s, to enjoy after your swim or walk to the beach.
*View Deck Areas*	The Hofsas House was built into a hill that allows for magnificent ocean views from our forth floor deck area. This view deck area is a great place to sit, read, and enjoy a glass of wine while watching a glorious sunset.
*Off-Street Parking*	Ample off-street parking is available allowing guests to take in the beauty of Carmel-by-the-Sea by walking everywhere in town.
*Continental Breakfast*	Continental breakfast is available every morning from 8 to 10 AM in the Lobby. Guests may enjoy talking with our friendly staff or other guests in the Lobby, or take a tray to their room or to the view deck areas. After 9 AM, the continental breakfast can be delivered to your room by request. The breakfast includes: orange juice, Carmel Valley Roasting French Roast coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a variety of fresh French pastries delivered from a local bakery, yogurt and fresh fruit.
In-Room Amenities	All of the spacious rooms have HD cable television, telephones with voice mail, coffee makers with local coffee, hair dryers, refrigerators and private bathrooms with such amenities as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a vanity kit. Fireplaces, wet bars, kitchens or private balconies are available in some rooms. All deluxe rooms include microwaves and refrigerators. Available upon request are irons and ironing boards.
Free Wireless DSL	Rooms, lobby area, meeting room, pool area and view deck areas have free wireless DSL Internet access.
Dog Friendly Rooms	Some of our rooms are dog friendly. There is an additional charge for the pet. Carmel is a dog friendly town where dogs can run off-leash on Carmel Beach. Our gracious staff can recommend restaurants that welcome your pet for lunch and dinner.
