WORLD PREMIERE OF THE TV SET (3/07)
Definitely an inside look at the Entertainment Industry and how Pilots are shot and
dealt with. A bit slow in parts but any Industry people would understand the inside
jokes and how things are dealt with while the general audience gets a look at what
transpires behind the scenes.

About The TV Set:
A hilarious look at how television is made, THE TV SET follows a writer (David
Duchovny) as he tries to navigate his TV pilot down the mine-laden path from script
through production to the madness of prime-time scheduling– all while trying to
stay true to his vision. Along the way he has to juggle the agendas of a headstrong
network president (Sigourney Weaver), volatile young stars, a pregnant wife and an
ever-optimistic personal manager. Also starring Ioan Gruffudd, Judy Greer and
Justine Bateman, THE TV SET is a hair-raising tale of art and compromise- all in the
name of high stakes network television.
Directed by Jake Kasden and featuring David Duchovny, Sigourney Weaver, Justine
Bateman, Ioan Gruffudd and Judy Greer, the TV Set will open on April 6, 2007.
Running Time: 89 minutes Rating: R
