| The ISES Los Angeles Chapter is proud to lead our first ever ISES Southern California Educational Day Conference on September 7th at the Sheraton Delfina Santa Monica Hotel. As this is our inaugural year, we are looking forward to a fabulous conference with professional development courses geared all levels and niches in the Special Events Industry. This conference is supported by Meeting Professionals International Southern California Chapter, Association of Bridal Consultants Greater Los Angeles Chapter, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International Los Angeles Chapter, National Association of Catering Executives Los Angeles Chapter and as well as our Orange and San Diego County Chapters of ISES.
We are proud to announce that HSMAI LA will be our luncheon host and as such will be presenting Michael Collins, Executive Vice President at LA Inc. to be our keynote luncheon speaker. During our luncheon reception we will also be entertaining a mini-tradeshow of our allied associations. Please be sure to bring your questions.
We almost have our complete speaker line up confirmed, but here is a tickler list of some of the session topics: Communicating Sales Success; Shades of Green ~ Special Events; Top Trends in Special Effects for your Special Event; Necessity Breeds Invention; Insights on Navigating a Balanced Wedding Business: Spiritually, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally; and How Associations and Non-Profits Thrive on Special Events. We will also be presenting a CSEP session for those interested in pursuing their CSEP.
