Indian Wells, Calif., November 6, 2007 – Daily tickets for the 33rd annual Pacific Life Open, the fifth most-attended tennis tournament in the world to be held March 10-23, 2008 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, November 7, it was announced today by tournament director Steve Simon.

The two-week ATP and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour event, which showcases over 250 of the best tennis players in the world, has remodeled its website, www.PacificLifeOpen.com, and will offer a Spanish language version and make it easier to purchase tickets than ever before.  Fans will now be able to print any daily upper bowl tickets at home, saving time once they arrive at the stadium for matches.  The redesign, which was based upon customer research conducted by the ATP, will also feature flash animation, larger and more vibrant photography and video clips.

In addition, a new general admission ticket is available to fans this year that will offer first come, first serve seating in several sections of the grandstand within the main stadium. This provides the fan that wishes to purchase a less expensive day session ticket to watch play on all of the outside match courts,  the opportunity to now watch matches within the main stadium as well.

“Our goal is to continually seek ways to offer more options for our fans” said Simon.  “If someone is interested in coming to the Pacific Life Open, we want to make sure that they are able to customize their experience and that starts with the type of ticket they buy.  Being able to purchase tickets easily online, print tickets at home, and have choices like the new general admission ticket, are just a couple of ways that we are ensuring that happens.”

Individual tickets range in price from as low as $18 for evening session grandstand tickets to $75 for loge seats on the final weekend.  Coachella Valley residents have the opportunity to receive a 30 percent discount on most sessions, which provides even greater value for the biggest sporting event of the year in the desert. Other daily discounts are also available to USTA members, seniors, students and the military.

Another ticket option for fans this year will be the all new Stadium Club, which will give fans the opportunity to enjoy the comforts of a newly redecorated suite with indoor/outdoor seating, complimentary food service, VIP parking and more.  There are also the traditional classic box seat series packages, hotel and ticket packages and mini-ticket packages.
