The Luxurious “Fairmont Princess Resort” in Acapulco, Mexico is Amazing (3/08)

While attending the Mexican Open Tennis Tournament in Acapulco this February, we had the fortune to visit The Fairmont Acapulco Princess hotel who was hosting the tennis event. This hotel is spectacular! With 480 sprawling acres of exquisitely landscaped property and 1017 rooms of the most luxurious accommodations and incredible dinning, this vacation resort is like no other in Acapulco. It is truly in a league of its own. It is 20 minutes from the bustle of downtown and not far from the airport. If you are looking for a relaxing, resort-like getaway, this is your spot! The gardens, pools and immaculate golf course are 5 star. There are five pools, a saltwater lagoon, swans, flamingos, tropical birds and the most breathtaking scenery right on the beach.

We had dinner at the La Hacienda restaurant, which was a fine dinning experience. The service was top notch and we enjoyed an array of Mexican specialties from the menu as we listened to the strolling musicians. This is a romantic spot and we recommend dining on their outdoor patio under the flickering lanterns to enhance the mood. La Hacienda offers fish to lamb to authentic Mexican classics.
