Taste of the Nation – Los Angeles Sunday, June 1, 2008: 1pm to 4pm Media Park, Culver City Los Angeles’s top chefs, restaurants and winemakers have come together to donate their time, talent and their passion to end childhood hunger for the 20th annual Taste of the Nation Los Angeles on Sunday June 1, 2008 at Media Park in Culver City. This charity event will help raise money to ensure no kid in Los Angeles grows up hungry. KCRW’s Tom Schnabel will be spinning tunes, while guests can mingle with the area’s hottest chefs, enjoy the delightful food, taste wines from around the globe, and browse and bid in our one-of-a-kind live and silent auctions. Don’t forget to stop by the “ask Jonathon” booth to chat with L.A. Weekly’s Pulitzer Price Winner Jonathon Gold and watch the entertaining waiter races. And don’t miss out on the celebrity chef cook-off hosted by Kirk Cameron.
