Fun On Going Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre Show in L.A. – December 1st, 2002
This exciting Murder Mystery Dinner Show (Mystery Event Theatre) takes place at the Harbor House Restaurant in Marina del Rey.
Public performances will continue after the New Year (alternating themes/alternate Saturday nights). One can choose between the "Who Wants to Murder a Millionaire?" and the new show "Hollywood Canteen" which previews on January 25, and has its Grand Opening on Valentines Day. The new show will feature a 1940’s theme with music from that era and stationed in a USO Canteen. The Millionaire show takes place in 1956 in a ficticious TV Studio. The Studio Representatives are selecting their fall schedule with the help of the T.V. viewers. All hell breaks loose during the performance and the guests have to pay attention and remember the clues to guess the murderer and important questions at the end of the night.
The evening starts with appetizers on the Patio. From there, all the guests are moved into the private dining room where the rest of the event continues in and around the tables, while you are eating a great dinner. Your choice of Fresh Salmon, Pecan Crusted Chicken, or a vegetarian dish are accompanied with vegetables after starting with a Spinach Salad and bread finishing with Tiramisu for dessert. Drinks are extra, but there is a full bar to choose from. The price is $69 per person, which includes all the great food, entertainment, fun and laughter (plus tax&tip).
The cast numbers from 8-10 actors. They all have much experience and great backgrounds (TV, Theatre, Commercials, Music, etc.). The owners of the company are Muriel Minot who organizes the evening and her partner Rebecca Hall, who writes all the scripts (she has written over 45 scripts in the 5 years they have been together).
Mystery Event Theatre is also available for Corporate Events, Private Parties, Fund Raisers, and Special Events.
