GOING GREEN & GETTING GORGEOUS
February 22 &23rd 24th 2007…..The Loews Hotel in Santa Monica was the ultimate setting for the hottest “socially conscious, eco-friendly” swag suite in town. The view was still beautiful even with the rain and the mood, 100% SUNNY! Sara Rue, Fairuza Balk, Charisma Carpentar, Diedra Hall, Adrienne Janic, Beth Stolarczyk, Daniel Baldwin, Louie Lombardi, Loretta Divine, Vanessa Williams ( “Soul Food”) Pat Pope ( wife nominee writer Dick Pope, THE ILLUSIONIST) were just a handful of special guests who indulged in ALIVE Expo’s super green products, and gave their to support to helping change they way we think about the environment. After scooping up some healthy swag it’s onto the gorgeous conflict free babbles provided by private jeweler Jonathan Shapero. Pat Pope requested a few of his stunning timeless vintage pieces for the big night. Other guests treated their taste buds to DELICIOUS chocolate covered goodies from Berry Elegance before getting an Oscar updo with Cristophe of Beverly Hills. ilm, a Newell Rubbermade Company provided some of the most used celebrity hair and spa products. After all the pampering guests stopped to check their Oscars invites in our Le Novo Celebrity internet café.
Guests ventured from to room collecting some of newest “green goodies” and learned a lot more about saving the planet and becoming environmentally aware! PennHouse also featured sponsors who are involved with some amazing charities such as Peacekeeper ( Kiss Campaign), and Domini Jewelers ( Smile of a Child, Haiti ) as well as The Creative Coalition.
PennHouse Award Suites owners Kim Shimmel and Suzanne Shaw teamed up with Stacy Broff, owner of Diamond Girl Public Relations in Los Angeles for press and celebrity outreach. PennHouse Award Suites is a brand entertainment company that is highly recognized for its outstanding events around the country and its support for various charitable organizations.
