COSTA MESA, CA – Combining all-time favorite Elvis Presley songs with a surefire rock’n’roll story, All Shook Up, the musical that took Broadway by storm last season, will ride into the Orange County Performing Arts Center May 29 to June 10. Headed by newcomer Joe Mandragona along with Jenny Fellner, fresh from Broadway’s Mamma Mia! and TV, stage and screen favorite Susan Anton, All Shook Up tells the romantic tale of how a young girl’s dream comes true when a guitar-playin’ roustabout rides into a square state and turns the town upside down with his hip-swivelin’, lip-curlin’ and sexy song-singin’.

The clever book is by Joe DiPietro (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change), with direction by Tony® Award-nominee Christopher Ashley (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), and features 24 Presley classic hit songs including “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Burning Love,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “It’s Now or Never,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” Sergio Trujillo, who is currently represented on Broadway with the hit musical Jersey Boys, will choreograph this well-tuned hot-rod musical that took Broadway by storm and guarantees to have your entire family jumpin’ out of their blue suede shoes!
Producers Richard Martini, Allen Spivak, Albert Nocciolino and Magic Arts & Entertainment have reunited the original Broadway design team, including set designer David Rockwell, costumes designer David C. Woolard and lighting designer Donald Holder for this first national touring production.

The Orange County Performing Arts Center opened in 1986 with its 3,000-seat Segerstrom Hall and intimate 250-seat Founders Hall. In 2006, The Center expanded its venues to include the 2,000-seat Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and 500-seat multi-functional Samueli Theater. The Center’s new facility, which also includes an education theater and lab, joins with the adjoining Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory and a site for a future visual arts complex to create Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
