Fresh off the first U.S. Stray Cats tour in 15 years, the "New King Of Jingle Bell Rock" (Billboard) Brian Setzer and his 18-piece big band will kick off their sixth annual Christmas extravaganza tour on November 17th in Verona, NY. Following last year’s sold out and critically – acclaimed tour, this year’s run expands to 27 dates. The group’s festive and exhilarating holiday set will trumpet the BSO in top form, tearing through blistering rockabilly and big band swing. Songs will span Setzer’s career, including Stray Cats and BSO hits "Stray Cat Strut," "Jump Jive An’ Wail," and "Rock This Town" as well as new tunes from Wolfgang’s Big Night Out, Setzer’s 14th studio album.

His latest endeavor, set for release on September 25th on Surfdog, finds the creative genius tackling the daunting task of reinventing and reviving many of classical music’s most popular songs. From Beethoven to Mozart and Tchaikovsky, the three-time Grammy Award winner creates entirely new and explosive rockabilly renditions of these timeless melodies.

On October 16th, Surfdog Records will re-release Setzer’s indispensable yuletide albums Dig That Crazy Christmas ("undeniably cool" – Chicago Sun Times) and Boogie Woogie Christmas ("best all-around holiday album" – New York Post). Surfdog Records is also re-releasing the Christmas Extravaganza DVD shot at the Universal Amphitheatre (now Gibson Amphitheatre) in Los Angeles in December 2004.

Last year’s show sold out well in advance, so due to popular demand, a second show has been added this year.
