Cafe Rio/Brazilian Exotic Foods in Culver City serves up ethnic food but prepare to wait (9/09)

If you have ever been to Brazil, you know that the people are friendly, the food is great and that efficiency is not one of the country’s strong points. Everyone takes it slow as I can attest personally.  The same can be said for Brazilian Exotic Foods, otherwise known as Cafe Rio (keep an eye out as the restaurant name may vary). The friendly chef and owner Luciene Peck cooks up her native Rio de Janeiro Cuisine in this tiny strip mall spot. The food is authentic and fresh but many of the items and daily specials may not be available and it takes a while to be served. If you are not in a hurry and want to experience the flavor of Rio, head down to the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and they have a nice flat screen HD TV.
