New Indian Oven in Marina del Rey- August 2014

 

New India Oven – Exotic Cuisine of India is located in the middle of upscale Marina del Rey perfectly located in the middle of a large outdoor mall with ton’s of parking. There is new ownership at this location since September 2013 and the amenities show an improved ambiance to the restaurant. Popular items include their Tandori, Curry and variety of fish, chicken, lamb and vegetable dishes

  
There are plentiful amount of a la carte entries. They also feature a “complete dinner” section that includes seafood, chicken, lamb and vegetarian dishes. They include rice, naan, spinach, lentils, yogurt and rice pudding along with dessert. They also have a lunch buffet.

 

They have a second location in Westwood. We enjoyed the Tandoori chicken wings and veggie samosas as appetizers (pictured above). Our favorite dish was the Chicken Tikka Masala in a delicious mild tomato-butter sauce. We also loved the eggplant bengan side dish. They are reasonably priced with entries priced between $11- $15.
