The An Family has some great restaurants including Crustacean in Beverly Hills and another one has recently opened up on 3rd St near the Beverly Center called The District. This was the old Barefoot restaurant and the décor is beautiful with tables and artwork brought in from the Far East and around the world. They have some great signature cocktails such as the Hot Asain and the Try Love You Long Time- both refreshing and tasty cocktails made with Loft and Bear Vodka.

For starters, try the following:

The Saigon calamari is amazing….not spicy with amazing flavors, thai basil and scallions.

Ahi Tuna Poke… Has a great kick to it if you like spicy and comes with cilantro and avocado silk.

The Grilled Tiger Prawn appetizer is both beautifully presented and delish

For Entrees:

The black cod in clay pot is as fine as butter, juicy and flavorful, and a very popular dish

We also had one of Hannah’s signature wok lobster dishes with her own version of garlic noodles. They are different to the ones at crustacean, but very unique.

Our favorite side was hands down the brussel sprouts….a popular favorite.

To finish your meal off- Don’t miss the pinneapple bread pudding…. this dessert should be part of your last meal if you ever get executed.

The staff and service were top notch and we particularly like the outdoor patio seating even though we sat inside. We highly recommend a visit here as you will be very satisfied.  GM Randy and owner Hannah are very hospitable and welcoming.   If you are thinking of having a private party, they have a great room upstairs to rent out.

Location is 8722 West Third Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048 310.278.2345
