Visionworks Top Fashion Trends for Fall 2015:
For the Ladies:
QUIRKY COLOR BLOCKING – Unexpected asymmetry, gradient temples, bold brow emphasis and
temple tips create new areas of interest via playful color blocking for women’s frames. This
update is a fun twist on the typical color block trend.
FLAT TOP – The sharp flat top trend emphasizes the brow with an exaggerated straight edge for
men. Partnered with both squared and round bottoms, this trend gives a dramatic update on
staple shapes.
ROUNDS – The round trend is key across both optical and sunglass categories with modern
updates on vintage inspired silhouettes as the driving force. Thicker frames provide a significant
re-style, while natural materials in bold monochromatic tones create a directional styling
statement.
MARBELED EFFECT – Graphic tortoiseshell is animated with color and shadows, creating a
marbleized effect reminiscent of 1930’s Art Deco surfaces. Semi-transparent surfaces create an
artistic blend that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of modern tortoiseshell.
STATEMENT PLASTIC SUNS—Eyes need UV protection, even during the fall and winter when the
sun isn’t always top of mind. This season plastics have been given a much-needed update.
Natural elements or marbleized tortoise effects give classic silhouettes, such as a club master or
wayfarer evolution.

See the world – minus the glare, on the road or off – with Harley-Davidson signature eyewear. These frames were actually my favorites as I got a very nice eyeglass frame and stylish sunglass frame. I wasn’t aware that Harley-Davidson had such nice frames and definitely worth a try.
Nike Optical includes frame designs that are durable, flexible and lightweight while they still retain shape, perfect for a busy lifestyle. I tried one of their casual plastic frames.
Gant eyewear combines its American East Coast heritage with a modern high-quality European touch.
Technolite frames are made from plastic polymer – or plastic titanium – which makes for super lightweight, flexible, strong frames that are extremely comfortable to wear. These are the most lightweight and the flexi frames can be bent and are very comfortable.
