LA Clippers defeat the struggling Milwaukee Bucks at the Staples Center- December 2015

The Milwaukee Bucks came into Staples Center fresh off a defeat to the lowly Lakers the night before. Some of the team was even spotted at a strip club after the Laker game. To make matters worse, they were playing again without one of their key players, center Greg Monroe who was nursing an ankle injury. The final score of 103-90 was not as close as the game. The Clippers were led by a balanced attack with Chris Paul getting 21 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds including 3-4 in three point shots, Blake Griffin scored 15 with 8 rebounds, JJ Redick had 19 points with 3-6 on three point shots and Josh Smith adding 13 off the bench.

It was a full team win and Doc Rivers was satisfied with the win. LA improved to 16-13 while Milwaukee fell to 12-18. The team still has been revolving at the small forward position with Luc Mbach a Moute now starting. Wesley Johnson, Paul Pierce and even Lance Stephenson have shared the position in which they have struggled.

Michael Carter Williams and OJ Mayo each scored 17 points but Jason Kidd is having a tough time figuring out what is going on with his team after making the playoffs last year and then adding Monroe, a first round pick and getting Jabari Parker back. The team is lacking chemistry and now has to go to Golden State for their friday game. However, their bright spot so far has been being the only team in the NBA to beat Golden State this year.

The Clippers next 3 games will be very tough at San Antonio, at Houston who always give them trouble and then home vs Oklahoma City before the Lakers visit on Christmas Night. It is about time the Clippers make a big move to upgrade their small forward position or even add more depth that they will really need vs. the Warriors and Spurs.
