LA Galaxy draw Kansas City 0-0 as Copa America is about to start- June 2016

The LA Galaxy took on visiting Kansas City with many of the stars missing from each team due to the upcoming Copa America tournament and other friendly tournaments. The game ended 0-0 in front of a modest crowd at the Stub Hub Center. Missing were Keane, Gerrard and Zardes as well as Zusi and Bessler for Kansas City. The Galaxy looked good in and moved to 5 wins, 2 losses and 6 ties for a total of 21 points and in 4th place in the conference.

Goaltender Brian Rowe wasn’t tested too much and LA had over 60% possession during the game.  Nigel de Young, Dos Santos, Magee played well as well as the full defense even minus Van Damme. Coach Bruce Arena was happy with the team’s effort especially without some of their key players. There will be a 2 week break for the MLS. More at www.lagalaxy.com
