Vonda Shepard to Perform in Southern California on July 16 and July 17

-Two-time Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning singer-songwriter performs in Los Angeles-

LOS ANGELES (June 7, 2016) – Two-time Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner, Vonda Shepard, will be performing at McCabe’s Saturday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m. and at The Coach House on Sunday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. for her first U.S. shows since her sold out European tours at the end of last year.

“I’m very excited to be back on stage in Los Angeles, playing songs from my latest album, Rookie, as well as some old favorites,” says Shepard.

Shepard is known for dedicating songs, telling intimate stories, all while, projecting dynamic charisma and intimacy with her audience. This year marks the 27th anniversary of Shepard’s Warner Bros debut.

Shepard released her first hit “Can’t We Try” in 1987 and followed it with “Don’t Cry Ilene” from her first album on Reprise Records in 1989. She went on to record three solo albums before rising to prominence in 1997 as the creative force behind the memorable theme song “Searching My Soul” for the TV series Ally McBeal. She played an integral part in writing and producing the music for the soundtrack as the show’s musical director and appeared in every episode as the resident performer at a bar where the characters would hang out after work.

In the 14 years since the TV hit ended its five-season run, Shepard has released five albums and toured extensively in Europe and at her own international and domestic concerts. Her next performances are at McCabe’s Guitar Shop, 3101 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405 and at The Coach House, 33157 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.
