Post Coverage of the concert for Harry Connick. What a likeable, genuine guy. After a great opening set by Bonerama’s trombone group, Harry came to entertain for 90 minutes of great music, stories, laughs and fun. He even brought his 20 yr old daughter up on stage to plug her clothing line during his fantastic show of great musicians and New Orleans music. The end was quite the hit as he did his signature jazz funeral ending with The Saints come Marching In. He also mixed in many of his other talents including tap dancing, playing multiple instruments and even doing a one man band short performance with drums and piano. This show is a Must See.
Do not miss this incredible show Sept. 7th-9th at the Hollywood Bowl. If you are a fan of New Orleans music, you are in for a real treat.
