LA Dodgers come from behind to beat Arizona, take 3 of 4 in Series- September 2018

The LA Dodgers capped off an exciting weekend vs the Arizona Diamond Backs to take the lead in the NL West as the playoffs approach with a come from behind win to take 3 out of 4 in front of a packed crowd at Dodger Stadium on September 2nd.  In the final game, the matchup pitted rookie Walker Buehler vs Clay Buchholz which turned into a pitchers duel. Entering the 9th inning, it was 1-1 and now up to the relievers. Improbable Daniel Descalso homered in the top of the 9th. Arizona closer Boxberger couldn’t hold the lead and walked the first 2 before a sac bunt. Then a surprise change to put Archie Bradley back in to face Matt Kemp, who homered off him the night before. That backfired as Kemp doubled off the wall for a game winning hit and 3-2 win. The playoffs approach this last month with a 3 team race with the Rockies and Diamondbacks but the last 2 losses were devastating for Arizona and uplifting for the Dodgers. Jansen got the win getting the last 3 outs after the home run. More at
