Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood Improv Show at the Smothers Theater at Pepperdine- Recap

The Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts presented

Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood

The Scared Scriptless Tour

Just an amazing array of the best improv you will find.  We have been watching Colin and Brad for many years on their variety of shows but most notably on “Whose Line is in Anyways”.   It is pure joy and amazement how their minds think and react so fast to the audience’s participation of requests where they implement the suggestions into the comedy skits.  They play a variety of improv games with the suggestions including singing off the cusp with background music to rhyme crazy lyrics but all good fun.  Quite a few of their skits involve audience volunteers and it is hysterical.  Sound effects may be my favorite as both Colin and Brad come up with the most witty and hillarious comebacks from no matter what sounds are made.  If you ever get a chance to check them out, it is a rare but must see show.   The show was a bit over 90 minutes but you feel like you can watch & interact with them all night. Check out all the other great upcoming great shows at the Smothers Theater on the link at the bottom.
