The Gardenview Bed & Breakfast located in Newport Rhode Island is five minutes from downtown. The owner and host Mary Fitzgerald is very accommodating and friendly. The house is very quaint and beautiful. There is a intimate outdoor backyard in a serene setting with a fountain. Her gardens offer a peaceful, quiet environment where one may enjoy reading, resting or watching the colorful birds and fish.
Mary serves a very tasty and full breakfast each morning 8:30-9:30am; all made from scratch. It includes fresh baked chcocolate chip scones, her specialty, as well as a different entree each morning including blueberry pancakes, French toast, and many other delightful dishes all inclusive and is changed daily.
The rooms are very comfortable, including a King Bed in the Sun -Lit Suite and Queen in the Garden Room with whirlpool tubs (Pictured above). There’s a lot of decor and artwork throughout the house and rooms, which add to the amazing B & B. Overall Gardenview is very convenient with parking right in front or in the driveway, Wi-Fi, TV, and warm hospitality.
The Gardenview is located on a quiet residential street, a short distance from the mansions, beaches, and the famous Ocean Drive. See why so many travelers make Gardenview Bed and Breakfast their bed and breakfast of choice when visiting Newport. It’s highly recommended for an overnight stay.
