Lake Arrowhead Dining at Sunsets Island Bar & Grill & Tiki Republik & The Queen Boat Tour- July 2026

If you’re visiting Lake Arrowhead, Sunsets Island Bar & Grill is a must! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and our server, Jules, was absolutely top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better.

Don’t miss the grilled artichoke, served with a delicious dipping sauce that had us wanting every last bite. The Sunset Salad was fresh, colorful, and packed with healthy greens, candied pecans, beets, oranges, and creamy goat cheese, all tossed in a flavorful balsamic vinaigrette.

For the entrée, I highly recommend the grilled mahi-mahi, perfectly cooked and served with coconut rice and zucchini. If you’re feeling indulgent, add the lobster tail—it takes the meal to another level.

The tropical, Trader Vic’s-inspired Hawaiian atmosphere makes the experience even more fun. I paired my meal with the Blue Hawaiian, and it was refreshing and delicious. They also have a great selection of signature cocktails and wines to complement your meal.

Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, dinner, or drinks, Sunsets Island Bar & Grill delivers great food, outstanding service, and a fun island vibe right in the heart of Lake Arrowhead. Highly recommend!   The owner of both Sunsets and Tiki is Marina and she is very friendly and accommodating.   End with the tasty ube cheesecake.

If you’re looking for a tropical escape in the mountains, Tiki Republik in Lake Arrowhead is a must-visit! The décor and atmosphere transport you straight into a classic tiki lounge, complete with dim lighting, island vibes, and an inviting setting that’s perfect for a fun night out with friends.

Start your meal with the Spicy Hot Edamame—it’s the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Pair it with their signature “Come On Baby, Light My Fire” cocktail (Featured Photo) , a delicious frozen pineapple Dole Whip-style drink that arrives flaming for an unforgettable presentation. It’s creamy, refreshing, tropical, and the fiery finish makes it as fun to watch as it is to drink.

For dinner, the Yahi Poké Bowl with vegetables and white rice was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend adding avocado for an extra layer of creaminess. The Shrimp Tacos were another standout, topped with crisp cabbage and fresh mango salsa that perfectly complemented the shrimp.

The cocktail menu is one of the highlights here, featuring everything from classic tiki trader vic’s favorites like Mai Tais and Zombies to creative house specialties with plenty of tropical flair. Whether you enjoy rum-forward classics, fruity frozen cocktails, or something adventurous, there’s something for every palate.

I visited on a Thursday during their open mic night, which featured a fun mix of live music and comedy that made the evening even more entertaining. They also host other specialty nights throughout the week, giving you another reason to come back.

A special shout-out to Christian, the manager, whose hospitality really elevated the experience. He was welcoming, attentive, and made everyone feel like valued guests, adding to the warm, laid-back island vibe that makes Tiki Republik such a memorable place.

Whether you’re stopping in for handcrafted tropical cocktails, Hawaiian-inspired food, or simply to enjoy the immersive tiki atmosphere, Tiki Republik delivers a unique dining experience that’s well worth a visit in Lake Arrowhead.

The best way to check out the Lake is via the Lake Arrowhead Queen boat tour with Aaron as fantastic tour guy, pointing out all the spots and popular actors who have owned homes.  He was entertaining and funny.

This is not too miss when you’re coming as you’re really not allowed to go in Lake Arrowhead except for restaurants and on the queen boat tour. https://lakearrowheadqueen.com/
