Copa America Soccer Tournament in the USA June 3rd- June 26th, 2016- Preview, Tickets

THE TOURNAMENT-  This is the biggest soccer tournament in the USA since the 1994 World Cup.   Tickets and more info on the link below.  Stars from countries in North America, Central America and South America will compete.  Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jaime Rodriquez, Clint Dempsey, Alexi Sanchez, Chichurito Hernandez and more scheduled to play.

We covered the Brazil vs. Equador game at the Rose Bowl which was very well played and ended 0-0.  There were many close calls on goals but Brazil lacked the usual scoring firepower with their best player Neymar sitting out this tournament  to rest choosing to play during the Olympics in Rio later this summer.  They were also missing some other key players but still had some good opportunities to score with captain Dani Alves creating some nice chances from his right back position.  They are still favored to win the group but the tournament will be interesting with all the injuries to key players including Messi, Suarez and James Rodriquez who got injured in Columbia’s 2-0 win over the USA on June 3rd.
