The Muse Costume Ball has quickly emerged as one of Los Angeles’s premier Halloween parties after just five years in existence, attracting more than 1,400 revelers for a night filled with art, music, drinks, and costumes. It’s the costumes that steal the show as attendees come from all over the state with elaborate-often handmade-ensembles in the hopes of getting an invite to compete in the costume contest for fabulous prizes.
This year get inspired by our exhibition Heroes and Villains: The Battle for Good in India’s Comics, which takes a unique look at India’s culture, its stories, and the comic book boom occuring there. Special guest Gotham Chopra will be taking guests on a multimedia journey to tell one of India’s classic harrowing tales.
The Costume Ball takes place on Halloween itself this year, so make sure you buy your tickets early! Tickets are $25 for Muse members but will be increased to $30 after October 24.
