The LA Clippers took on the young Minnesota Timberwolves at the Staples Center and ran away with a nice win.  Let by Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin, the Clippers took control and had an easy rare win.  The Wolves are coached by former Laker player and coach, Kurt Rambis and led by ex-Bruin Kevin Love who is making a name for himself this year.  He is leading the NBA in rebounding and has a 29 double-double streak of points and rebounds after this game.  Love had 10 points but no rebounds in the first half before coming to life in the second half.

They also have Michael Beasley (he got ejected in the second half with 2 technical fouls) who can score at will and quite a few other young high potential players that have yet to develop to a higher level yet leaving the team at the bottom of the standings.

Meanwhile, the Clippers were well balanced with 7 players in double figures led by Griffin scoring 29 points and grabbing 8 rebounds breaking his double-double streak at 27 games.  Eric Gordon tore a ligament in his right wrist during the first half but came back to play in the second half.  He will go through more tests to see if he will miss any future time.  Baron Davis had 20 points and played another strong game.  Final score was 126-111 and LA has won 6 of their last 7 including big wins at home vs. Miami and the Lakers.  More at www.nba.com/clippers or www.clippers.com
