On a spectacular evening in Hollywood, Ca., The Strokes from NY opened up for the legendary Tom Petty and his Heartbreak band. There were some special guests in the house to entertain the Full House Crowd. One would think after all these years that Tom Petty would have still have a good fan base but the Bowl was rockin and packed! Jeff Lynn (From ELO and singing in the Traveling Wilbury's came out and sang “Handle with Care” along with Petty. Then came the incomparable Stevie Nicks who sat in a few numbers including “Stop Draggin my Heart Around”. The band sounded great and the night was magical with the energy-filled atmosphere and sparkling lighting! Mr. Petty and the band have a new album out called “Highway Companion” and they played a few songs to entice the crowd. Of course everyone came to hear all of his most popular tunes and they were not disappointed. He did most all of them including a 3 song encore ending with American Girl!
